Our Chapter is having prizes for our chapter winners so rather than submit to the national you follow the rules and submit to the chapter. We will then submit the winners to the national contest.

We have  contests coming up. Share pictures of your classroom decorations and displays (without students) to Instagram. Use the hashtag aatsp051. You can also email them to aatsp.pa051@gmail.com. We will send gift cards to the winners of our classroom decoration contest. Awards will go for the following themes picked by our teachers:

Day of the Dead, Hispanic Heritage Month, Las Posadas, Our Lady of Guadalupe,

Semana Santa, Cinco de Mayo

Invites you and your students to the Eighth Annual
Oral Proficiency Expo, an event that will give students the opportunity to display their
speaking abilities in Spanish. The Expo is NOT a competition of
school against school but rather a collaborative experience.

Participants:
– Teachers who are members of our chapter may bring a TOTAL of 6
students from any level: 01, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4 Honors, AP, and Level 5.
– Participants must be students who learned Spanish in the classroom.

Date: Saturday, February 23rd
Time: 8:30 Registration
Cost: $3.00 per student if your school did not take the NSE (National Spanish Exam)

Awards and Lunch. 11:30 – 12:00

A waiting area will be available for teachers and parents.

Note: Teachers, if you are interested in attending but cannot bring/send
students please join us anyway and help with judging or supervising.
